Cozumel has its own magic; warm breezes, palm trees adorned with pretty lights. Las Posadas — spontaneous parades — meander through the neighborhood singing Christmas hymns, Nochebuena-Christmas Eve- marks the heart of the holidays with soft church bells murmuring in the distance; Cozumel truly shines through its people: neighbors dec orating their homes, artisans selling handmade ornaments, and a waterfront glowing with seasonal lights reminiscent of the energy of Carnaval. Children’s pageants at the Town Square, live music, and families strolling the Malecon -waterfront- bring locals and visitors together.
At Casa Colonial, the holidays feel warm and inviting with whimsical chili‑pepper lights, decorated palms, and a peaceful garden retreat. We love hosting guests who come for a different kind of Christmas — one shaped by culture, sunshine, and local tradition.
And after New Year’s, the celebrations continue with Los Tres Reyes (Three Kings Day) with more events to follow!
